Get involved: call for volunteers

With a little over five months before the 6th EUC Rowing begins, the first step in taking part in the Championships as a volunteer begins: it is now possible to register your interest to volunteer online.

The online application form is now live at www.eucr2010.nl/volunteers. All interested applicants are invited to submit an application for a position in areas such as Regatta Operations, Course Operations, Hospitality, Catering and Transportation.

The EUC Rowing 2010 team is seeking:

• Enthusiastic, dedicated and committed individuals who enjoy social, collaborative, team-oriented environments.
• Local and national volunteers as well as those from other European countries.
• Novice and experienced volunteers who want to add a peak experience to their volunteer resume.
• Those who are prepared to arrange for their own local accommodation.

So, if you want to have a great experience in getting involved in probably the largest EUC ever and would like to team up with enthusiasts from all over Europe, apply online at www.eucr2010.nl/volunteers.

The sixth European Universities Rowing Championship will be staged in Amsterdam from 19 to 22 August 2010.
